The simple rule is grab everything touching the engine. Grab everything that touches something that touches the engine. Follow every wire to its conclusion, and take the box or sensor with its brackets and fasteners. Whereever there are connector clusters, get the bracket they mount on. (Eg the row of 3-4 connectors on the firewall) Take the airbox if you think you can sell it, but absolutely donšt forget the mass air flow sensor that attaches to it. Get all the hoses. If the accordion intercooler hose is OK, youšll use it. I believe, but keep forgetting to confirm, that the lower ic hose, from turbo to IC inlet, is also identical to the S2šs. Get the ac compressor and alt. (CQ and 200 alts are the same piece, use the one that looks best, compressors are different). During removal, a mechanic will likely be making as much use of his Sawzall and prybar as his wrenches, so the more you can supervise, the better. The guys at ABC were pros, and there was zero damage to anything I needed. The entire job took a solid 8-9 hours.
