It's unclear to me whether there are any benefits to using a '91 vs. '90 CQ. I bought a '91 based on the slender premise that having matching model years might make some wiring issues go easier, but don't have any evidence that this is the case. The Treadway car is a ¹90, and has working A/C so obviously it can be done.
